~WPetrie: I am a car rental agent and their service is appalling. I've been trying to contact the Vendor support line along with the regular expedia line and no one has been helpful. Expedia somehow managed to book through my system for minivans and i am trying to get them to inform their clients that the vehicles aren't available as we are sold out. ANYONE who reads this never use third party websites for your bookings, they may get you a deal but they do not put up disclaimers warning you to look at the service-rs own website regarding third party websites. No company allows a third party to supersede their rules and regulations no matter what you are told. Always contact the service directly. if you can get the office *'s, even better.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Expedia. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Expedia problem?
~WPetrie: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~WPetrie: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Expedia's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~WPetrie: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Expedia customers?
~WPetrie: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Expedia to know who you are.
