~hh: The customer service representative spoke too quickly, quietly, and her English was very poor. When I asked her to speak slower and louder, she seemed mildly irritated, but continued her rapid-fire speech. I repeatedly asked her to slow down and enunciate. My travel needs were eventually met, however it was very frustrating to have someone on the other end of the phone line who cannot communicate well, and has a limited command of the English language.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Expedia. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Expedia problem?
~hh: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~hh: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Expedia's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~hh: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Expedia customers?
~hh: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Expedia to know who you are.
