GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 12/01/17?
GetHuman-mwtran: I had a mechanical issue while on vacation passing through Idaho. Took it to a Ford dealer for repairs. They said they made the repair to a part failure which evidently is a very common problem with this engine. Less than *** miles later, the repair they made failed. I had to make two other stops trying to get it repaired correctly. Including another Ford dealer who informed me they were not equipped to make the repair necessary. Once I found a shop able to look at it, I was informed the repair done by ford in Idaho had indeed failed and may, in fact, done other damage to the engine as the result. However, an analysis has not been performed to determine such. I have contacted the Idaho dealership service manager on numerous occasions to get them to authorize another ford dealer to diagnose and make the necessary repairs correctly. They only tell me there is nothing they can do and to my dismay said their work is not guaranteed! They now refuse to answer my calls even when I asked to speak with the general manager. The GM has not returned a single call of mine. This has been going on now since their initial work on July **th!*Since I am unable to drive the vehicle, I have been stranded as a direct result of their incompetent work and complete unwillingness to get this problem resolved. They not only refuse to authorize the vehicle to be repaired correctly but they now refuse to provide any customer service. Probably since I'm on vacation And now more than **** miles away from their location.*I ask that first, ford authorize me to take it to a facility capable of making the necessary repair(s) correctly, and that I be reimbursed for what I was charged by this incompetent ford dealership and other out of pocket expenses since leaving the Idaho dealer in an attempt to correct their failed repair. Obviously, if done right, the repair they performed should have lasted for several thousand miles* not less than *** as was the case.*I am very frustrated by fords complete incompency in correcting their error and refusal to make any effort to correct this issue. I hope that you can promptly correct this issue so proper repairs can be made and allow me to continue on the road. I'm still nearly a **** miles from home.**Thank you

GetHuman: And what about Ford's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-mwtran: For that I would say one out of five.

GetHuman-mwtran: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Ford to know who you are.
