~terry: A friend with ** yrs experience at an H&R Block office helped me with at-home software, but couldn't get depreciation calculations to work correctly. Overall, it was difficult to fill in the forms, and we spend * *** hours on the phone with customer support, they weren't able to help and said someone else would need to research an answer and get back to us - we never heard back from H&R Block. On finally getting it sorted out, and getting ready to efile, there was a survey that popped up, and I told them about the problems we had, even included contact info because I thought they might contact me because the review was poor. Never heard back from them. Guess they're so big they don't care?

~terry: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~terry: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about H&R Block's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~terry: For that I would say one out of five.

~terry: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for H&R Block to know who you are.
