GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's H&R Block customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-eileensc: Bad service
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/25/17?
GetHuman-eileensc: I used H&R Block faithfully for years with no problems, but this year was very different. I went to the Clearwater*Boot Ranch office as I had for the last few years, and they were AWFUL and DISHONEST! I urge people NOT to go there. My preparer was snippy and fees were much higher this year, so I went to the manager and complained - in a nice way I might add. She promised to make things right and completed my taxes. She then requested a give her a *-star rating as this is what her supervisor likes. Then she promised to send me an Emerald Card with around $** or so to make things right. I gave her the rating she asked for, and SHE NEVER SENT THE CARD! She lied to me! Please, do NOT have your taxes done by H& R block. Very dishonest!

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-eileensc: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about H&R Block's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-eileensc: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other H&R Block customers?
GetHuman-eileensc: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for H&R Block to know who you are.
