~rrea: I know that the stores fill a need. But, and this is a big but, the quality of the instructions needs to be improved. And the way that items are assembled needs to be improved. Every product we have purchased of late has required a return to the store for missing pieces. In the current instance, the little plastic pieces simply do not work. However, in trying to find out whether I am doing something wrong, I cannot get anyone to answer the phone.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Ikea. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Ikea problem?
~rrea: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~rrea: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Ikea's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~rrea: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Ikea customers?
~rrea: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Ikea to know who you are.
