~vicki nicholson: I tried to cancel a hotel reservation (Conf ********) for Rewards Member *** *** *** (Michael Wynne) and was told I could not get a refund. Mr. Wynne's trip was cancelled. It took * phone calls to get to your customer care center where I was told they would give me a partial refund. What? You are charging me a partial fee for what. I had no idea when I booked the room that is was a non-refundable room. I asked them to reconsider the refund, since Mr. Wynne is a very frequent customer. Hard to believe that Marriott does make such exceptions and over such a small amount of money. Terrible customer service. I personally will never stay at a Marriott as a result of this experience I had today.

~vicki nicholson: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~vicki nicholson: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about JW Marriott's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~vicki nicholson: For that I would say five out of five.

~vicki nicholson: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for JW Marriott to know who you are.
