GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Lexmark customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~studywoman: Spoke with Tech support on line because compatible ink cartridge that had been working perfectly stopped working after I did a download of Lexmark firmware. Tech informed me that the firmware had a component in it that required that ONLY Lexmark ink cartridges be used. Therefore, the * compatible cartridges I had just bought were useless! Firmware could not be reversed and of course, Lexmark was unwilling to replace the * cartridges that I could no longer use. Won't recommend Lexmark or buy and Lexmark product ever again and will replace lexmark printer asap!!!

~studywoman: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~studywoman: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Lexmark's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~studywoman: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Lexmark customers?
~studywoman: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Lexmark to know who you are.
