GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Lowrance customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Goatous: I own several (*) Lowrance GPS*Fishfinders*Communication electronics and always dread having to call for technical*customer support. It takes forever, to get a real person on the phone. They always apologize that it is their "busy season" (and it doesn't matter what season I call). I would think if it truly was a busy season, they would know it and staff more appropriately. Once you have someone, the advice you get is often wrong. I had one problem that I had to call back * times and got * different responses to the same problem. I did find one person who actually was helpful and could answer the questions correctly- the first time, luckily I got her email. After that, I would just email her with questions and she would quickly solve the problem. Unfortunately she left, now I need to go back to beating my head against the wall.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Lowrance. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Lowrance problem?
~Goatous: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Goatous: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Lowrance's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Goatous: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Lowrance customers?
~Goatous: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Lowrance to know who you are.
