GetHuman-51884: You buy a ticket five months in advance and due to the low price, can't even pick a seat until online check-in. As Lufthansa has stated in there press releases. People who pay a higher ticket price deserve better benefits and service. In short, you buy cheap, you get cheap. Plain and simple. Even the people who fly standby get better treatment. If Lufthansa could get away with it, they would be putting people in cargo. They are just making it more and more difficult for the people who pay for a low price economy ticket that they want to force you to upgrade so they can get more money. Why else would they have Premium Economy now. $$$
