~Frustrated Medco Customer: I sent in a prescription by mail thinking I was ordering a quantity of * and signed*authorized my credit card to be charged for * unit. I received (and was charged for) * units. When I called Medco, they said this is how the prescription was written. Even though I had only authorized payment for * unit, they "automatically" billed my credit card for *. Now I have to sort this out through their appeals process. This is why I prefer going to my corner pharmacy. Such a mistake would have quickly gotten resolved before any $'s changed hands.
