~alphaa10: After reading comments elsewhere about "snobbish" tech support people, I was pleasantly surprised when my call was routed to the Philippines. My first contact at that Netgear office was friendly and entirely professional, and despite my having several concerns, the CSR wrapped up all my needs within ** minutes, at most. Although I usually am critical of customer support operations with other companies, having been given incorrect information and*or rude service many times, I also know when I get good service and sound information. Whatever else people have heard about Netgear support, the Philippines operation works well.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Netgear. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Netgear problem?
~alphaa10: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~alphaa10: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Netgear's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~alphaa10: For that I would say one out of five.
