~OnStarGal: Had OnStar factory installed in my last vehicle (owned ** yrs) & never had a issue. I bought a new car that doesn't offer OnStar, so I bought the FMV mirror. In the last * months, my account was deactivated (not by me), reactivated & given * different phone numbers for my car. Trying to reach customer service on the phone is awful. The service through the mirror is better, but unless you have an emergency, you get a rep who barely speaks English. Waiting for a supervisor to call me back... apparently none were available to talk when I called.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting OnStar. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a OnStar problem?
~OnStarGal: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~OnStarGal: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about OnStar's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~OnStarGal: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other OnStar customers?
~OnStarGal: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for OnStar to know who you are.
