GetHuman-380834: I got a letter from Cablevision to switch our service from Verizon. Admittedly, it was a very good offer. My wife and I decided to switch and said we wanted to keep our number. They said fine. TODAY we get a call and say they need to reschedule or not take our number because they did not complete the third party verification they were supposed to do. First, I did not know they needed it, second, why did they wait until now? I told them I have no desire to reschedule, I had already cleared my schedule for them once. Are you sure? Yes. Cancel it all. I should have known better than to question leaving Verizon Fios.
