~tina: As far as I can see, Oxford is out for one thing - to get as much of your money as they can. I had extensive back surgery about * weeks ago and was sent home with *** pain tablets - one every *-* hours. Today I needed a refill. Well, since I didn't originally fill a prescription for the maximun allowed -*** tabs - I can only get ** tabs today (*******) (which costs me a copay of $**) and then, on ****** I can fill *** tabs which will again cost me $**. Who wins in this situation? Not me! They have been doing the exact thing to me with another pain medication - allowing me to fill enough for **.* days and a refill on the **th day. Not only do I have another $** copay, but I must pay out of pocket $*** for one day's medication. Note that this nonsense never happens on the medications with lower copays. I cannot wait for the day I heal from my surgery and can write that final letter to Oxford to tell them exactly what I think of them.
