~Rocket Dog: I am very upset with PNC. I closed my acct over a year ago and recently I received a letter saying otherwise. I called and found out that the acct is "INACTIVE" and NOT closed as it was suppose to be by the woman at Springville branch. I don't understand why she did not do her job properly, maybe she needs more training, but it looks like being the asst. branch manager, she would know how to do her job. So, I found out today that the acct is not closed and after being transfered * times "Brian" would NOT verify my acct number AFTER I gave it to him plus giving him my other information. "Jeff" (*nd transfer) is the one that gave it to me in the first place. It looks like PNC could do better than this. And, now I have to go to the trouble of sending a letter to Pittsburg, PA. to close this acct when all alone I thought it was already closed. And, to think, I use to work for this bank BEFORE it became PNC. Well, thank God I do NOT now nor do I want to be affiliated in anyway with PNC Ban

~Rocket Dog: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about PNC Bank's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Rocket Dog: For that I would say three out of five.

~Rocket Dog: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for PNC Bank to know who you are.
