~sbuent: I try to be understanding when it comes to customer service, because I realize it's a thankless task. I also try to take communication issues in stride. That being said...this was one of the worst experiences I've had. The woman with whom I spoke was very clear in her speech and command of spoken English* I had no trouble understanding her. I'm not sure she understood ME, however. She asked me the same questions over and over* I was canceling service and she must have offered me * different options to make staying more attractive, none of which I wanted. Every time I answered a question, she seemed to disappear for minutes at a time, leaving me not knowing whether she had understood me of even if she was still on the line. To say I was frustrated would be an understatement.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Sirius/XM. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Sirius/XM problem?
~sbuent: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~sbuent: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Sirius/XM's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~sbuent: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Sirius/XM customers?
~sbuent: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Sirius/XM to know who you are.
