GetHuman-302857: had fios for over * years... i was always thankful that there stuff rarely breaks, because if*when it does the support is usually appalling. my modem died in december, and after driving a long way to return the dead one in person to get it off my account, they wanted to lock the door in my face ** minutes early and refuse to take the modem*give me my receipt. i managed to pressure them into taking it, but after finding no way to file a complaint about the experience, complained to the attorney general.**this got their attention, however, after swearing this would never happen again (store regional manager), what happens... i'm billed for the modem *** dollars. took forever to get to the 'right' person, and still don't know if it will be taken off.*and btw, i didn't know they had charged for it because i changeed my phone number and their billing system defectively no longer publishes the bills on the website (default is paperless). turns out their system can't handle that scenario. a
