~rands: I waited for ** minutes for it to give me the option of MS calling me back. Then, I waited ** minutes for them to call me back. To my chagrin, when they called me back, I was put on hold for another ** minutes. Isn't that why I gave you my number, to avoid waiting on hold? Once I got to a real person, they wouldn't help me. It's my account. I never asked for the 'added protection.' I don't remember password well, why do you think I checked the auto-sign-in feature on the xbox? Suddenly, that's not good enough, like somebody is sitting around my living room, playing my xbox on a daily basis and using my account. You want me to go to an email address I only have because it was the first one I ever got (and it was free)--hotmail. You want me to remember that password even though it has been longer since i have longed into it. I pay good money for xbox live and can't use it and you won't help me recover it. Sorry, sorry support.

~rands: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.

~rands: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Xbox's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~rands: For that I would say five out of five.

~rands: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Xbox to know who you are.
