~Totally Dissatisfied : Aflac denies claims based on inability to read doctor's writing, and personal judgments without honestly reviewing ICD codes and talking to doctors to gather complete, accurate information. They will delay the approval of claims for several months for short-term disability when you need them the most asking for medical info. from your doctor, one month at time. Just when your doctor gives them what they ask for, two weeks later, you get another letter asking for some more medical info.regarding another treatment date delaying approval. My doctor complains that that he keeps sending info. and they keep asking for more info. and he's not sure what they want (and they probably don't either)as they are not specific. My doctor says it's just a ploy to keep from paying out on claims and sifting through a lot of the medical info. to find something to grab and try to prove they shouldn't payout on a policy. AFLAC is unfair, and is interested in signing people up and only paying out a mini

~Totally Dissatisfied : I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Totally Dissatisfied : I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AFLAC's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Totally Dissatisfied : For that I would say two out of five.

~Totally Dissatisfied : Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AFLAC to know who you are.
