GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's AT&T customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~bacardistuff: On April **, I switched from Verizon to AT&T. I was told on that day that when I got my FAN, all I had to do was call in and provide the number. I called on April ** (FAN in hand), was transferred X* over a period of ** minutes before I was told I had to physically walk into a store and fill out "the form". Okay, so apparently I was provided with false information on April ** which in other parts of the country is probably called lying. I looked up the nearest AT&T store (**** **th St S, St Petersburg FL, (***) ***-****)* store is open until * PM. I go at *:** PM, open the door and I'm told, "we're closed". So now AT&T is provided inaccurate information online as well. My relationship with AT&T is getting off to a rocky start and I'm not impressed.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AT&T. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AT&T problem?
~bacardistuff: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~bacardistuff: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AT&T's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~bacardistuff: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AT&T customers?
~bacardistuff: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AT&T to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~bacardistuff taken from his AT&T customer service problem that occurred on November 17th, 2017.
