~vettebob69 : purchased an Audiovox AA*** car alarm, it was by far the most frustrating time wasting experience that I've had in recent memory trying (not) to install it. The directions were vague and confusing, they only identified the wires from the alarm side and left it completely up to the consumer to find the appropriate wire on the car side. And, even then, it turns out (after wasting more than * hours under the dash of my car) there are additional parts that were needed to make the alarm work. This was not mentioned anywhere in the installation instructions and, as it turns out, are not available for purchase from Audiovox. In short I would not purchase anything from Audiovox........ever, and will advise my friends to do the same.

GetHuman: And what about Audiovox's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~vettebob69 : For that I would say five out of five.

~vettebob69 : Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Audiovox to know who you are.
