GetHuman-261509: I bought a nook color about a little over a year ago, but my power cord did not work. I was under warranty, but I was close to the store, so decided to just buy another. Two months after purchasing second power cord, it disintegrated in my hands. I called the store and was told to call the customer service number. I called the customer service, but was told they could not replace my power cord because it was not under warranty, to call the store where I purchased it and they could possibly help me. I then waited for a manager to call, which he*she never did, so I called back later that day. I was told they had to follow store policy and could not help me. They have lost a customer, and I have plenty of friends, and neither will they buy from this store again. I know I can't be the only customer out there with this problem, so beware of buying your nook because you will constantly have to buy power cords.
