GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Equifax customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~AnthonyHull: Just been through the unrelenting **** that is your automated telephone service. Aside from the fact that full automated services that require the breadth of information that Equifax's does are inherently horrible (no one likes to talk to a machine for that long), yours doesn't appear to understand the Queen's English. OK, I'm from England not Canada, but I have an accentless voice - how can it not understand me? I rang because my SIN card was stolen, and yet at the end of the call I was given no information about whether the service had worked or if the charge had been taken off my credit card. Further investigation shows there is no alternative number to call which allows you to talk to a live human. Abysmal.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Equifax. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Equifax problem?
~AnthonyHull: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~AnthonyHull: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Equifax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~AnthonyHull: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Equifax customers?
~AnthonyHull: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Equifax to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~AnthonyHull taken from his Equifax customer service problem that occurred on November 1st, 2017.
