GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Expedia customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Stratman: First it should be an indicator that they don't want to talk to you... there is no phone number on their website. I bought * tickets to South Africa. The trip I bought was through Turkey non-stop from Houston then to S.A. Surprise! The itinerary they sold me was a stop in Washington DC, then to Dakar, then to S.A. on a different airline! I did not look at the emailed itinerary for several weeks. Now all the person would do when I wanted to change was go over my itinerary over and over. I am done with EXPEDIA! They should have at least sent me an alert that they had changed my itinerary! Finally the person did say "I am sorry."
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Expedia. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Expedia problem?
~Stratman: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Stratman: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Expedia's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Stratman: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Expedia customers?
~Stratman: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Expedia to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Stratman taken from his Expedia customer service problem that occurred on November 12th, 2017.
