~ClarifyingMisconceptions: From an insider and subscriber's point of view I have great sympathy for those who have been "transitioned" to OptumRx. The number of calls from seniors regarding denied or rejected prescriptions is unbelievable. After minor investigation as to what the logic is behind the denial, I must complete an in depth investigation to find out that the logic applied is "deceipt, and lack of common sense". The "specialist"(used very loosely) have little or no knowledge as to why claims are handled as they are. Members who pay exorbant amounts of money for health insurance would be better served spending the time they must to determine why a claim is rejected, working another job to pay for the prescriptions they need, and previously had covered.*The previous person asked for an explanation of the ***** logic, it's a method that is being used to compensate for inflation and the rising cost of health care. ~ClarifyingMisconceptions: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~ClarifyingMisconceptions: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about OptumRx's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~ClarifyingMisconceptions: For that I would say two out of five.
