~DJ PDR: Westchester (Los Angeles), CA store* Assistant Manager Tasha Wells - on * different occasions, Ms. Wells was extremely rude to me. On *******, when I was returning a damaged & unused luggage, she insisted "No, we would've never sold a damaged item. It looks like you used it and broke it" and refused to accept the return. She flat out accused the customer of lying. I escalated the situation to District Manager & the new store manager Jessie who apologized for her behavior. During my encounter with Ms. Wells, I had a cashier also apologize for her rudeness--"I'm sorry I can't take it back without Tasha's approval, but I believe you. I know you didn't use it or break it." I've also observed how Ms. Wells bullies her staff and tries to manage them through fear* it's not a healthy work environment.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting TJ Maxx. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a TJ Maxx problem?
~DJ PDR: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~DJ PDR: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TJ Maxx's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~DJ PDR: For that I would say four out of five.

~DJ PDR: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TJ Maxx to know who you are.
