~Disgusted in Okanagan: Polite and efficient person* my call was regarding Summitt energy.. a bootleg gas provider.. obviously in collusion with they who change their name constantly B.C Hydro, Terrasen Gas * Fortis? Door knockers come round preying on elderly (my auntie, old and short of sight) to sign a 'guarantee' of gas price. What is a gigajoule you say? they signed her up for a rate *** Percent higher than her current one!! Hydro knows of them, but does not appear to want to 'get involved' at the customer level.. scandalous, unethical behavior.. and I'd guess legally actionable if one had the patience.
