~paul: My old laptop died about a *-* months after the warranty expired. I took it to a local shop and I was told that it needs a new motherboard and the entire replacement will cost me $***. I looked online and a new HP motherboard for this unit costs $*** to a consumer like me. This means, they're charging $*** minimum to install a motherboard. **Anyways, I did more research on internet and ran into this tech support company called iyogi. desperate to get the laptop working, I decided to get it fixed through iyogi. After a long conversation with their technician I was told that iyogi do not have coverage for hardware issues. They just wasted my time. DO NOT sign up for this service as they donot provide complete tech support. No hardware support.
