~Scogipa: AAA, in my humble opinion, completely ripped me off. They made unauthorized changes to my plan without my knowledge or approval. I tried repeatedly to discuss it with them and their response was basically, sorry but its our way not yours. I still have ** more months on my paid up plan but they changed it and WILL NOT change it back for the remainder of my ** month contract with them. And yes, I said 'contract'. They set the terms, I gave them the money they said it would take, they TOOK my money and issued the cards. THAT is a contract and they are not allowed to unilaterally change it - but they did. I've been with AAA for ** years. I've always trusted their reputation but this experience has shown that they can not be trusted.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AAA. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AAA problem?
~Scogipa: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Scogipa: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AAA's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Scogipa: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AAA customers?
~Scogipa: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AAA to know who you are.
