~borroloolant: We have a very bad experience which I wish to share with Trip Advisor guests. We booked via AGODA and thought we would have some sort of protection from Agoda in the case of problems. We were wrong! We booked from the *-* November **** and on the * November **** we had to leave early due to the oncoming Typhoon Yolonda. We were told that there would not be any refunds as Agoda would not refund money. We still tried to get a refund from Agoda and they at first told us they would talk to Jay Jays hotel. Jay Jays then told Agoda we had got a cash refund, which was not true. Agoda to date have not been willing to follow up and sort out this complaint.This is very sad and I would recommend people not stay at Jay Jay's unless you pay cash each day as you can not trust this hotel. Please stay only at your own risk and with Agoda they only look after their Hotel clients, not their customers. My next step will be to complain to my credit card company about this hotel and Agoda.

~borroloolant: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Agoda's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~borroloolant: For that I would say three out of five.

~borroloolant: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Agoda to know who you are.
