~2228: I found out today that the $*** cash advance came out of my personal checking account. I called AMEX. Shane explained that Amanda was new, apologize that she did not properly advise me that the AMEX gold transaction would be use as debit card. I am less than a block from my bank and own a debit card through the bank. "Shane" why would I call AMEX to do a debit card transaction? He offered to credit my next bill with $** late fee but nothing to do about my $*** shortage in my checking account. I never raised my voice, explained I will pay upon the next billing and cancelling the card. He said OKAY! Thanks AMEX.
