~dines: i bought a sanyo microwave from asda ** months ago from the lower price bracket,this has now stopped working and its replacement indicates to me that it was inferior in performance from the start,however,i contacted asda as it was only * months outside its guaranteeand i felt should have lasted a bit longer,only to be told to contact sanyo.I did contact sanyo who then passed me back to asda under the sale of goods act,fit for purpose.I went back to asda and repeated what i had been told.I was then told that as it had lasted ** months(the lenght of guarantee* it was fit for purpose.It was also pinted out that my purchase was from the lower price bracket.therefore does lower price reflect inferior performance?I dont feel expecting a product to perform longer than a year is unreasonable,and does a years guaranteee reflecta lack of confidence in products.this is not a budget buy if it needs replacing so soon,it is actually expensive at a time when people can least afford extra expense.I wi
