~mdion: My bank card got canceled by CIBC in error **rd September while I was abroad during an attempt by a representative to increase the limit of my debit card.*The promised me prompt action to rectify the situation.*It took until the **th to issue a new card. *******which then had to be sent to the US. *No one provided any help during that time to make an urgent payment from my account in Canada despite several requests.*No one could provide any assistance in this matter, no wire transfer, no emailing transfer, no bank check ...nothing.*Calling customer assistance on *st Oct again, I was told that no card had been issued and they started on the phone to put me through the motions again to apply for a new convenience card. *Then a replacement card was while I was on the phone with CIBC despite telling me it had not been sent. **Thanks for leaving me high and dry without any access to my account or cash while traveling. Thanks for showing me which bank I can depend on.
