GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Comcast customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~C Fan: I am a new customer and I try to install Comcast Xfinity internet service at my home . It was a big mistake. First, I spent $*** ordered a compatible cable modem according to Comcast website. And the internet never worked. I started calling Comcast customer customer service every day for two weeks. Every time is the same story,they apologized and said that they are working on it. Finally, they decided to send a technician to my house to work it out. I have to take a half-day vacation to wait for the technician. But he never showed up. I call the *** number again, and they had no clue why the technician did not show up. So right now, I am still waiting and no internet service. In the mean time, my first "internet service" bill has arrived today and Comcast wanted me to pay. What a horrible experience.

~C Fan: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~C Fan: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Comcast's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~C Fan: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Comcast customers?
~C Fan: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Comcast to know who you are.
