GetHuman-73531: Repeated misinformation was given by Duke Energy, Charlotte, NC employees about how to be a "Guarantor" for a family member. This company does everything in it's power to enable them to demand hundreds of dollars in deposits. BS excuses are given to make the paperwork difficult to file, like your FAX was too light, and incompetent or more likely poorly trained staff give you the wrong information. This company has a monopoly and is not regulated by the government in Raleigh and so can "take" from those who don't have much and can't defend themselves. Duke Energy is evil and exploitive.
