GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's GHI customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Kristyn P.: GHI might be the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. If you are ***% healthy and only have to contend with the occasional doctors visit, this cut-rate insurance will probably do the job. However, if you need any sort of medical procedure that falls outside the norm, you are completely screwed. I've had chronic, crippling heel pain for approximately a year. GHI didn't cover all of the physical therapy I needed, acupuncture, or massage therapy. Based on the lack of results of more conventional treatments, my doctors recommended two alternative treatments* ESWT and PRP, both of which have experienced phenomenal success rates treating my condition in clinical trials. GHI will not pay for either treatment. Both of them are noninvasive and can be administered in less than ** minutes. The out of pocket cost is around $**** each, so I can only imagine that it would not be a substantial bill to GHI. I will be dropping GHI as soon as possible. Avoid this company if you can!

~Kristyn P.: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.

~Kristyn P.: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about GHI's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Kristyn P.: For that I would say four out of five.

~Kristyn P.: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for GHI to know who you are.
