~Fedup: I would suggest to any one who has had a bad experience with GHI, at any level either as a member or a provider to write a letter of complaint to the department of insurance in the state of NY. I work for providers office and one of my biggest headaches is when I have to contact customer service at GHI. It is funny how much they try to push for you to go to their website, it's is useless! The information they provide doesn't help if you need to get further information. In which you are forced to speak to some idiot who doesn't know what she or he is doing or just doesn't give a dam. After all it's only about some patient who they don't even know... YOU! I have yet to see or meet a customer service who would go the extra mile to try to help out a patient. No one has ever had in my ** years plus in the medical field. It is time speak out loud and demand the type of service that you deserve!!!! Now it the time, it will only get worse. ~Fedup: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for GHI to know who you are.
