~Haggjon: It's sad that people in the field set the people in the call centers up for misery. The person that helped me today was excellent with customer service however his hands are tied and all he can do is take your information and tell you the status of your complaint. Which in my case is absolutely nowhere because H&R Block is receiving so many complaints that they don't have the level of staff needed to address them in a timely manner. In the meantime I have had to contact the State to find out what the issue with my tax filing was and take care of it myself with no support from my local or district H&R Block or face penalties for not taking care of it by the deadline. The thing that makes me the angriest - I actually paid for this ****.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting H&R Block. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a H&R Block problem?
~Haggjon: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Haggjon: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about H&R Block's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Haggjon: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other H&R Block customers?
~Haggjon: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for H&R Block to know who you are.
