~sunflower's review of HSBC customer service
GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's HSBC customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~sunflower: For a simple address correction (which we discovered was the root of a missing piece of mail) I had to be transferred * times. They did address my concerns, but it seems silly to need * people to do this. In all, the call took almost ** minutes and I had to go through banking security as well to change my apartment number. While I appreciate them being thorough it seems a bit much. . .AND after all that, they wanted to sign me up for a credit card! :(
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting HSBC. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a HSBC problem?
~sunflower: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~sunflower: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about HSBC's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~sunflower: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other HSBC customers?
~sunflower: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for HSBC to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~sunflower taken from his HSBC customer service problem that occurred on October 30th, 2017.
