~rosemalone1: I reserved a mini van on **********,went to pick it up at noon as scheduled at A&B CarStar,**** Wornall Rd in K.C.MO.on ********. When I arrived the van was filty & smelly.The Hertz's agent kept saying he swepted it out himself & that their car wash was out of order. I told him I didn't want it in that condition. Because there was a car wash in the next block they could send it to. He said ok. I left & returned at *:** PM. The van was still sitting in the same spot dirty. The agent was very unfriendly. He asks if I had ever used Hertz before. I had several times.I always use my AAA discounts.*Then he tells me they would only accept a visa bank card from my checking acc. I gave the card to him. He says his system was down & he had to call his boss.They ran a full unecessary credit report w*no problem. Then he claimed the card was declined because I didn't have $***.in my acc. *($***. * a $***.) hold fee exceeded the $***. my bank allowed in one day. I called my bank & rasied the volume

~rosemalone1: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Hertz's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~rosemalone1: For that I would say one out of five.

~rosemalone1: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Hertz to know who you are.
