GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Ikea customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~dhabercom: After much frustration trying to get help from IKEA, including the laughable "Ask Anna," I finally got human service at this number. The problem was serious: one of three drawer fronts in the Varde Kitchen Base Cabinet had the holes drilled *mm off, which made the piece useless. The only solution was to get a replacement, but none of the other help avenues could deal with it. The young man promptly promised to send out a replacement part. If the part actually arrives as promised, this should solve the problem.**It is very clear that IKEA does not get Customer Service. Their system needs to be overhauled and some Swedish web managers sent packing.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Ikea. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Ikea problem?
~dhabercom: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~dhabercom: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Ikea's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~dhabercom: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Ikea customers?
~dhabercom: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Ikea to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~dhabercom taken from his Ikea customer service problem that occurred on November 22nd, 2017.
