GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's PSE&G customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~anjcustomer: By far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Besides the ridiculous wait times- whether it be first thing in the morning, mid-afternoon, or night- expect to wait at least ** minutes, if you are lucky* I have waited almost an hour. While a couple people I've dealt with have been civil, I have also literally had a representative raise his voice to me, for absolutely no reason. I work in customer service, so I know how some customers can be, this was not one of those cases, these people really could just care less because they are a monopoly. PSEG customer service is a perfect example of why communism failed- without competition there is no incentive to improve, or apparently even treat customers like human beings.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting PSE&G. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a PSE&G problem?
~anjcustomer: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~anjcustomer: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about PSE&G's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~anjcustomer: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other PSE&G customers?
~anjcustomer: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for PSE&G to know who you are.
