~Ret: Yes I can. It was late at night, on October 19th.
GetHuman: Did you reach out to Royal Mail, and if so, how?

~Ret: "Local services" was why I was trying to call.
~Ret's review of Royal Mail customer service
GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Royal Mail customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Ret: The quality of service mark is composed of three people, and an average. One (Colin) was very helpful (*), and a chap I spoke to briefly at the corporate affairs office was also helpful (*). However this interaction was coloured by a rude man (scoring *) who finished our conversation by putting my on hold, transferring me, and not telling me he was doing that. He also failed to listen to what I was asking for and seemed to be on auto pilot (he was reached on the general customer service number, the first number I rang. It got better from there..)
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Royal Mail. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Royal Mail problem?
~Ret: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Ret: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Royal Mail's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Ret: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Royal Mail customers?
~Ret: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Royal Mail to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~Ret taken from his Royal Mail customer service problem that occurred on October 19th, 2017.
