GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Sears customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~LowellB: I called the Sears recall number listed on their website regarding the recall of the ** gal. Craftsman air compressor. The very uninformed woman that answered the phone, after being on terminal hold, knew little about the recall except that it did exist. The only advice she offered was to take it to a Sears store and they would handle it from there. I called my local Sears, they knew nothing of the recall and stated that they would not know what to do with the compressor. I guess I will wait until the thing catches fire and take the appropriate action. Sears service and repair folks are severely lacking in knowledge of their own products. What a shame. Used to be a great company.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Sears. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Sears problem?
~LowellB: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~LowellB: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Sears's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~LowellB: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Sears customers?
~LowellB: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Sears to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~LowellB taken from his Sears customer service problem that occurred on October 28th, 2017.
