~donnaf: USAA's mortgage division is a separate from the rest of company. I've had many home loans and refinanced w* them for a small home loan. It was a nightmare even tho' they had access to all my other info within the company. I had to do tasks repetitively, numerous delays, switched agents *x in process-so unexpected based on other service from them. USAA communicated incorrect info to title co. When I closed, they had to redo it & fax **** pages - it took * hours to complete. I can't believe they would risk their reputation by having this terrible mortgage service. Car loan through their bank was fine.

~donnaf: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~donnaf: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about USAA's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~donnaf: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other USAA customers?
~donnaf: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for USAA to know who you are.
