GetHuman-43964's review of AT&T customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's AT&T customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
GetHuman-43964: After three phone calls I got nowhere. Phone was shut off for non payment. I read them everythig on the receipt and they kept saying they did not get the payment. Kept passing me on to other "assistants". Demanded a supervisor and was transfered to a person who admitted they were not a supervisor. email received no answers at all. Even though I had the receipt for payment they said they did not receive the payment. They refused to do any research themselves. Had to drive across town to a AT&T store where a manager did find the problem and fix it. He said it was an easy thing to trace and did not know why "customer service" could not have did it on the phone. It is obvious their "technical support" is in reality only people reading menu choices on a screen and have no real working knowledge of the system. It would help if they could speak English also.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AT&T. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AT&T problem?

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-43964: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AT&T's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-43964: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AT&T customers?
GetHuman-43964: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AT&T to know who you are.
