~David: I called to cancel my policy (switching to a new company)... at first I was told I had to go into a local office to do that. I told the rep that wasn't possible and she put me on hold then came back online after a minute or so. She said it would be taken care of, but to avoid any issues I gave her my new insurance policy number. I was disappointed that she didn't ask for it.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Allstate. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Allstate problem?
~David: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~David: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Allstate's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~David: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Allstate customers?
~David: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Allstate to know who you are.
