GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's TripAdvisor customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Gigster: Refused to post accurate review because my stay was just more than a year ago. Of course, I didn't know Marriott's La Concha "resort" in Puerto Rico had charged me two rooms which we did not stay for. We left after one night with the promise we would not be charged because the place was like "Spring Break." Marriott refused to refund all of my money until I fought with them for a month. There should be exceptions to their rigid and arbitrary policy if they truly want to help the people who use their site. Nothing I wrote violated any of their rules. I should have written my post before giving Marriott a chance to fix things as my delay caused TA to take down my post. So unfair.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting TripAdvisor. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a TripAdvisor problem?
~Gigster: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Gigster: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TripAdvisor's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Gigster: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TripAdvisor customers?
~Gigster: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TripAdvisor to know who you are.
