GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Chase Debit Card customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Escobarb: Chase customer svc. reps tell customers misleading info and make no effort to rectify their mistakes. Case in point, my card was deactivated by Chase due to a negative balance of ** cents. When Unemployment benefits posted, I was told the direct payment card would immediately reactivate. I scheduled a job interview for today based on the funds being available on the card to pay for my commute. Today, Chase acct. mgr. Shawn advised it will take an ADDITIONAL *-* business days for my debit card to reactivate. This is unacceptable because when I found out the card was deactivated, Chase never told me it would take an additional *-* days to activate the card. I will contact NYS Dept. of Labor to have my UI benefits switched to a different financial institution.
